1. About this policy
This Cookie Policy explains how SLOWBITE, LLC (“SLOWBITE,” “we,” “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on turmeriblends.com (the “Site”). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include pixels (tiny images or scripts that report a page visit), local storage, and embedded content from third parties such as video players. In this policy, “cookies” covers all of them.
Some cookies are set by us (first-party cookies). Others are set by companies whose services we use, such as Google, Meta and YouTube (third-party cookies). Some last only while your browser is open (session cookies); others remain for a set period (persistent cookies).
2. Types of cookies we use
- Strictly necessary. Required for the Site and store to work: keeping items in your cart, processing checkout, securing forms and account logins. These cannot be switched off.
- Functional. Remember choices you make, such as your language or recently viewed products, and let embedded videos play.
- Analytics. Help us understand how visitors use the Site, which pages they visit and where they came from, so we can improve it. We use Google Analytics, deployed through Google Site Kit and Google Tag Manager, and WooCommerce order attribution.
- Advertising. Used by Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and YouTube/Google to measure our ads, build audiences and show you relevant ads on other sites and apps. Under some US state laws, this may be considered “sharing” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or “targeted advertising.”

5. Your choices
- Cookie settings. Use the “Cookie Settings” link in the Site footer to turn analytics and advertising cookies on or off at any time. Strictly necessary cookies stay on because the store cannot work without them.
- Opt out of targeted advertising. Click “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” in the footer, or email hello@slowbite.com with the subject “Opt-out.” Depending on your state of residence, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your personal information.
- Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for that browser.
- Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop the cart and checkout from working.
- Provider tools. Google Analytics opt-out add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Meta ad preferences: facebook.com/adpreferences. Industry opt-outs: optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org.
Opt-outs apply to the browser and device you use. If you clear your cookies or switch devices, you may need to set your choices again.
6. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when we add or remove services on the Site. The “Last Updated” date at the top shows when it last changed.
